Nicole Somerville departs NewFM

NewFM Breakfast Host, Nicole (Nic) Somerville, has departed the Newcastle station.

Somerville came to the Breakfast Slot with Joel Gosper in May last year. On NewFM’s website, Gosper is listed as hosting Breakfast solo for now.

In the latest GFK Radio Ratings in Newcastle (Survey 2 2026), New FM recorded a 9.6 (-0.4) in People 10+, and in Breakfast recorded a 8.4 (-0.9), with a cume of 58,000 (-5000).
